Meet Our Training Faculty

Meet our principal, owner and lead teacher Nikki. I am deeply passionate about yoga and the profound benefits that can be experienced for any willing participant. I believe wellness is not complete if you don’t take care of the whole self, mind body and spirit. Qualified in well over 800 hours of Yoga training and 100’s of hours under her belt across sound therapy, holistic counselling, creative art therapy and is a Reiki Master teacher. As principal and leading teacher of the YTT program I aspire to guide students to a new, better version of themselves, whether they aspire to teach, deepen their practice or relationship to self.

Samantha is a dedicated yoga teacher naturopath, massage therapist & energy healer . With 24 years experience in the health and wellness industry, Samantha is delighted To be part of the YTT team to share all her experience and knowledge from the heart to help you become the most connected yoga teacher you can be. A refined yoga practitioner specialising in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga with many years experience personally practicing Ashtanga, as a starting point in her yoga journey. She has a special passion for Sanskrit, the sutras, creating unique flows & love of meditation. Travelling to India, Bali and Byron bay for YTT completely immersing herself in the yogi lifestyle whilst gaining qualifications. Her aim is to change people’s lives through yoga, and guide with a warm loving heart.

Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to the Zen Den faculty of teaching, with 18 years of teaching experience within the various styles of Classical Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Meditation Mudra, Mantra, Restorative Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Matured aged & Chair Yoga & the sister science of yoga, Ayurveda. Trained both in Australia and India Lisa is a Senior Registered teacher with Yoga Australia, a Bowen Therapist and Reiki Master. Lisa is passionate about sharing the healing arts drawing on ancient yogic wisdom and adapting it to the needs of modern living.

About This Training
A robust and comprehensive Yoga Australia registered teacher training that will teach you to safely and confidently create and teach hatha and vinyasa style yoga classes.
This program is the perfect platform for nourishing your love of yoga and setting a strong foundation for a professional yoga career.
Created in partnership with an experienced instructional designer, this program is professionally crafted to put the student at the centre and deliver maximum educational impact.
You will:
Learn a teaching methodology that sets a solid foundation for both your yoga practice and teaching,
Gain a firm understanding of anatomy and its practical application to asana so that you can practice and teach with greater confidence and skill,
Learn the art of peak pose sequencing, which will empower you to develop safe, smart and creative class sequences,
Deepen your own mental well-being by learning to practice and teach key meditation and pranayama techniques,
Gain a clear understanding of yoga history and the real-world application of key philosophical texts,
Learn about the subtle body systems, such as the koshas, chakras and vayus,
Participate in practices, asana labs, practice teaching, and structured practicums that will radically deepen your personal practice and elevate your teaching,
Connect with a community of like-minded yogis to nourish your passion and dive into your personal growth.

For any level of practitioner, you don’t have to be flexible or able to do fancy poses to take the training. Your personal practice will deepen at the pace that works for you.
